1.1 Gameplay mode
The Game Mode you play in can drastically affect how much GP you earn. Game Modes including Elimination and Quarantine initially do not offer an adequate amount of GP. Unless you play exceptionally well (Like 15 Kills - 1 Death) you are looking to get under 250 GP each round.
Games including Search and Destroy and Elimination Pro offer an abundant amount of GP (I usually get 250-500GP each round) but may take a long amount of time thus leading in less profit. Nonetheless these modes are fun to play and offer a sufficient amount of GP to reach 100K. If you do not have a sufficient amount of GP to start off with, this mode is recommended, as this mode does not solely rely on the weapons you use, but the tactics you implement in them.
Spy Hunt and One Man Army are very situational modes. Depending on how you do, you are looking from 30-1200 GP in Spy Hunt. The highest I have received from Spy hunt is 1156 GP (Best moment of Combat Arms for me) and I scored 16-3, killed everybody except one person and uploaded. But there are very rarely times in which the opponent just stands in one spot, spraying aimlessly and are like lambs to the slaughter. If you do badly in this mode, then you are literally not going to go far with your GP, as 4 Kills and 10 Deaths will probably get you 60 GP. This is the same with One Man Army, but the risk is less. If you do 4 Kills and 10 Deaths in One Man Army you may probably get more than you would get in Spy Hunt, but if you completely boss the mode you won't be looking at 1200GP.
Fireteam (Cabin Fever) is arguably the best mode in accumulating GP. The profit you make in Cabin Fever Depends on how long you play, and how epic you do. I usually get 1500GP in an hour without any boosts, but the initial cost of the Machine Guns can leave a hefty dent in your pocket, which is why it is crucial to no life the day with Cabin Fever if you ever purchase machine guns for Cabin Fever, so you have a higher return and less expenses than if you play Spy hunt. The best server to play Fireteam in is Black Market (GP/XP boosts and get the veterans.)
1.2 Strategic Gaming.
The biggest problem I've seen people do is rushing aimlessly into the opponent's base and getting gunned down by 4 people. These people then complain about hacks and then continue rushing aimlessly into the opponent's base. Unless your opponent's team is a bunch of low ranks and KDR's you could just jump into the water in Two Towers and get a better score (Figurative speech). But seriously, GP is determined by your score, and the more kills and less deaths you get, the more GP you are going to earn. Have you ever been killed by the annoying player who has camped themselves in the Alpha base sandbags on top of Snow Valley, and realizing he has a score of 11 Kills and 2 Deaths, while you have 9 Kills and 7 Deaths, who do you think will get more GP? Of course him! Although camping is considered noobish and cowardly, if aimless rushers camp more then they will notice a significant improvement in their GP intake.
Rushing aimlessly and rushing tactically are two different types of gameplay, and rushing tactically is mainly the type of gameplay which gets you the kills. While aimless rushers will try get as much kills as they can, trying to gun down everybody they see, tactical rushers seem to go for kills that they know they have a 90% chance of getting, and seem to take the defensive side of rushing. After all, a good defence in the best offense.
Stretching your KDR is also a great way to make GP and raise your KDR easily, except it's too boring to explain. It's basically camping without the risk of dying if you do it right.
1.3 Additional GP boosting weapons.
Double Barrelling is not commonly seen in Combat Arms, but is effective for scoring up high ranged points in Close Quarters Combat Maps like Grave Digger and Junk Flea in the mode Elimination Pro. Although this defeats the whole purpose of saving GP, as you have to spend GP to purchase a Double Barrel, you can replace the GP with all the efficient kills and decreased deaths, as you don't go to them, they come to you.
Mines are like your butter on bread in Two Towers. If placed in the correct places these bad boys can get you a lot of effortless kills, which in theory, increases your GP intake. I always bring mines to my Two Towers Elimination Games and get about 7-12 kills each full round.
Heartbeat Sensors are also a great way to rake up kills if utilize properly. The knowledge of knowing where your opponent is takes you at an advantage, and usually gets you the kill.
External Factors
2.1 Game Servers
This is pointless to list, as most people if not all know this but in case you don't, here's a heads up. Veteran, foxtrot, Delta and Black Market Servers give a 10% or more bonuses to your GP and EXP intake. Playing in these servers may not affect how much GP you earn at first, but adds up after time.
2.2 EXP and GP Passes
EXP and GP Passes are obtainable through purchase in the black market, or Black and Gray Hi-Sec Keys. If you get the 100% pass with 10 uses, I recommend using them on Cabin Fever, and the 25% and 40% passes should be used in quick games.
